Statement of Intent
We’re a collaborative working group of like-minded NHS GP practices in Greenwich, united by a shared belief in the values of traditional family medicine: continuity, compassion, coordination of care, commitment to quality, and community focus.
Our shared purpose is to improve patient outcomes by strengthening traditional primary care locally and preserving the principles of family medicine. By supporting one another, we aim to deliver high-quality, community-based care that improves lives.
Together, we’re responsible for a combined population of 130,000 patients. We’ve worked together informally for years. Now, we’re taking that spirit of cooperation forward and exploring a more structured way to collaborate for the benefit of our practices, and our patients.

Our Guiding Principles
Equality
Every practice matters, every voice counts.
- A formal but flexible structure owned by, and accountable to, members.
- Make all key decisions collectively, with equal voice and shared accountability.
- Every decision should pass the test of fairness to patients and members.
Transparency
Nothing hidden, no hierarchy, open by default.
- The organisation will exist for, and be controlled by, its members.
- Leaders and decision-makers will remain directly accountable to members.
- All operations, finances, and decisions will be open to scrutiny by members.
Simplicity
Keep structures lean, processes clear, and decisions practical.
- Our structure and processes will be clear, fair, and easy to understand.
- Make decisions that support long-term resilience, not short-term gain.
- We’ll strike a balance between equality of voice and practicality of decision making.
Frontline First
Funds and focus stay with the people delivering care.
- Resources and benefits flow to the practices delivering care.
- Empower our members to deliver care, not delivering care ourselves.
- All surpluses will be directed toward supporting practices, staff, and patients.
